Black Friday 2009 Best Buy VIP Contest Begins

Black Friday deals are bigger than ever and Best Buy is repeating its successful Black Friday VIP contest for 2009. Best Buy will award $1000 Best Buy gift cards to winners in 25 markets so they can shop on Black Friday with some extra money. This is Best Buy's second year hosting the Best Buy Black Friday VIP contest.

Announced Friday, the second annual Black Friday VIP contest is now under way. Shoppers in 25 markets are to submit essays on why they love Black Friday. Win the contest in your area, and the store will issue you a $1,000 gift card, send a limo to your house before dawn on Black Friday and grant you early access to the goods.

The winner will also receive priority seating outside of their local BestBuy, a digital camera to record the event and early entry at 4:30am -- one half hour before other shoppers.

Not only are the Black Friday deals incredible and many have been leaked to the public earlier than expected, winning $1000 to shop the deals at Best Buy is an extra special deal.

Best Buy spokesperson Scott Morris stated that he expects "laptops and mobile devices to be especially sought-after this Black Friday -- not surprising, since the store will likely still be experiencing huge demand for the splashy new Droid and HTC Hero phones."

Best Buy offering up thousands of dollars to lure shoppers in and they make Black Friday a really big event. They have even published a list of Black Friday Shopping Tips for customers who aren't savvy in the competitive sport of Black Friday Shopping.

The lists suggests shoppers pack snacks, wear comfortable shoes, and long johns in cold areas of the country might be necessary for a long wait.

Best Buy is prepared for a massive amount of shoppers who shop on Black Friday not only for the deals, but the tradition. Now Best Buy fans will have the chance to shop with extra cash, thanks to the generous Best Buy Black Friday VIP Contest 2009. The contest starts Friday, November 7: www.bestbuyvipcontest.com
