Amazon Pre-Black Friday Tech Lightening Deals: Update

Amazon is keeping shoppers on their toes with their "Lightening Deals" on their Gold Box Deals page online. Today is "tech deal" day on Amazon.com. Rumors of low priced laptops, discounted TVs and Blue-Ray disc players are spreading around the Internet but you have to act fast. These deals last all of about a minute when they are announced every two hours.

A previous article earlier today mentioned that Amazon.com has deals of the day and Gold Box deals that are out-doing some advertised Black Friday deals. Saturday, November 7 was touted as a big day for Walmart's Pre-Black Friday sale but Amazon is keeping up with the competition, especially with tech products and televisions.

Every two hours a new "lightening deal" is announced on Amazon.com. Prepare for a battle to get the deal. Watching the previous deals was like watching a drag race: most deals were scooped up in one minute of less. It's obvious Amazon has limited quantities available at the "lightening deal" price and it's a fabulous way to bring customers to the site.

The latest deal, a Toshiba 46XV648 46-Inch HD LCD TV Cinema Series, was sold out less than a minute after it was posted at 1pm EST.

What's coming up for the rest of the day, Saturday, November 7?

3pm EST: Buy an Xbox 360 Arcade and Get a $100 Amazon.com Gift Card

5pm EST: Amazon hints that this is a "Great HDTV technology at a great value."

7pm EST: 15.6-inch laptop with 250 GB hard drive, 4 GB of RAM and Windows 7 Home Premium. Rumor has it that this is similar to the $298 HP Laptop offered today at Walmart.

9pm EST: Amazon hints that you can "Watch your movies in High-Def" with this product.

According to Amazon.com: Lightning Deals are only offered for certain time windows. When no Lightning Deals are available on a particular day, you'll see a message telling you to come back at another time. If Lightning Deals will be available that day but the start time hasn't arrived yet, the deal will be marked "Coming Soon." You'll be able to see the product category for the deal item and a countdown until the deal starts, but you won't see the exact item until the time arrives.

Act fast for the best lightening deals. Today's deals are all tech-focused, so if you're looking for a bargain, keep an eye on Amazon.com's Lightening Deals.
