Jon Gosselin Counter-Suing TLC For $5 Million

Jon Gosselin, part of the now defunct Jon and Kate Plus 8 show, is suing TLC for $5 million in damages, after TLC sued him for breech of contract. According to Radar Online, Mark Jay Heller will file the suit on Jon Gosselin’s behalf. Jon must be busy trying to get $10K an hour media appearance deals so he has Heller filing the suit for him.

The lawsuit that is being filed on behalf of Jon Gosselin is likely in response to the lawsuit filed by TLC against Jon. In October, TLC filed a detailed breach on contract suit after Jon Gosselin refused to allow TLC to film his children for "Jon & Kate Plus 8." The date for preliminary testimony in the TLC lawsuit is December 14, 2009.

TLC's law firm of Williams & Connelly has called Michael Lohan, Hailey Glassman and Jon’s former lawyer, Mark Jay Heller, to testify under oath. Jon’s bodyguard and other people associated with Jon and Kate Gosslein will also testify under oath. (Jon Gosselin needs a body guard why?)

At this time, it is not known whether or not Kate Gosselin will testify against her soon to be ex-husband, Jon Gosselin.

Jon Gosselin and his lawyer claimed that TLC had violated Pennsylvania child-labor laws, a charge the network and Kate Gosselin quickly denied when the suit was filed.

It's apparent that John Gosselin is really grasping at straws filing child-labor law charges against TLC. He had no issue with the filming of his children when TLC had him on the payroll.

Gosselin has starred for four years in "Jon & Kate Plus 8," which has been now turned into a media circus over their marital problems. The show is no longer being produced.

There is no date set for Jon Gosselin's suit against TLC as it has not formally been filed yet.
