American Idol runner-up Adam Lambert has finally found someone to allow him on their show. The Associated Press reported that Barbara Walters will interview him on The View on Thursday, December 10, as well as on her Ten Most Fascinating People of 2009 special on Wednesday night, both on ABC.
Adam Lambert's much talked about performance in November on the American Music Awards show resulted in ABC removing him from appearances on Good Morning America, Jimmy Kimmel Live and Dick Clark’s New Year’s Rockin’ Eve 2009.
Apparently Adam Lambert will be performing on The View. Hopefully there are good preventative measures put in place, like a huge edit button, in the very likely event that Lambert decides to start up his less than G-rated antics.
Joining Adam Lambert on Wednesday, December 9 on Barbara Walter's Ten Most Fascinating People are: Kate Gosselin, Sarah Palin, Brett Favre, Tyler Perry, Michael Jackson's kids, Jenny Sanford,Glenn Beck and Lady Gaga. That's quite a variety show.
In May 2009, Adam Lambert finished as the runner-up on the eighth season of American Idol. Lambert released his debut album, For Your Entertainment, on November 23, 2009, the day after his racy on-stage performance of the title song from the album. The album debuted at number three on the Billboard 200 selling just under 200,000 copies in the United States.
