Batman Arkham Asylum 2 Announced: Arkham Has Moved

The Video Game Awards 2009 are being presented Saturday night and the premieres for the newest games for 2010 is big news for video gamers. The big announcement of the night is that Batman: Arkham Asylum 2 is about to become reality. The sequel to the very popular Batman: Arkham Asylum is huge news in the video game world. At the VGA's December 12, Mark Hamill's threatening vocals reverberated throughout the audience revealing a sequel gamers weren't expecting.

The 7th edition of the Video Game Awards is presented live onSpike TV on and started at 8PM ET. Video games are always hot items, especially during the holidays. The VGA show features a host of stars from the world of video games, Hollywood and pop music.

The Spike Video Game Awards (VGA) started in 2003. The 2009 VGAs not only features the big announcement of Batman: Arkham Asylum 2, but has previews of Prince of Persia: The Forgotten Sands, UFC 2010 Undisputed, and Halo: Reach.

Batman: Arkham Asylum is an action-adventure stealth video game based on DC Comics' Batman for PlayStation 3, Xbox 360 and Microsoft Windows. It was developed by Rocksteady Studios and published by Eidos Interactive in conjunction with Warner Bros. Interactive Entertainment and DC Comics.
