Charles Barkley Reaches Out to Tiger Woods

Retired NBA basketball player, Charles Barkley, has been trying to get in touch with Tiger Woods. Apparently, Woods changed his phone number after his world turned from golf to scandal and many who want to reach out to him cannot. Barkley told the Associated Press on Tuesday that he has not spoken to Tiger Woods since the November 27 accident that unraveled the entire Woods mistress story.

Barkley currently works with Turner Network Television as a studio pundit for its coverage of NBA games. He is appearing in a show on Sunday, December 20, "With All Due Respect", with two other Turner Sports analysts, baseball Hall of Famer Dennis Eckersley and longtime NASCAR driver Kyle Petty.

Filmmaker Spike Lee is one of the guests in the one-hour special during which the sports stars discuss a variety of topics, including Tiger Woods. Barkley and Lee worry that Woods isn't taking advantage of the advice that friends who are used to the public eye can offer.

"He's insulated," Lee said during the taping for the show. "If Charles Barkley and Michael Jordan can't get to him, and those are his boys, then other people are making bad moves."

Barkley said he just wants to tell Woods, "Hey, man, we love you. If you need anything, pick up the phone."

Tiger Woods' world has been coming apart since his accident outside his Florida home on November 27. To date there have been at least 15 women named to his 'transgressions' roster and a number of alleged reports of Woods' hiring prostitutes and sending money to keep these women from going public.

Now that they have gone public, despite any silencing money Woods' sent or any cover-ups done by his alleged 'crisis management team', it looks like Woods and wife Elin Nordegren are headed down a rocky path that will undoubtedly end in some sort of marital separation, if not divorce.
