Actor Gary Coleman in jail

Gary Coleman, the actor who starred in the television show "Diff'rent Strokes" that ended in 1986, was arrested in Utah on Sunday. Coleman, 41, was booked into the Utah County jail for failing to appear in court on a warrant. Coleman is best known for his role as Arnold Jackson on Diff'rent Strokes, a sit-com that was broadcast from 1978 to 1986.

According to a report in The Salt Lake Tribune, the Utah County Jail records show that Coleman was arrested on Sunday, January 23, 2010 after police received reports of a disturbance at his home.

Gary Coleman was previously arrested in 2008 after a man claimed Coleman tried to run over him in a parking lot when he tried to take a picture of Coleman. That case was said to have been settled out of court.

Coleman and his wife, Shannon Price were involved in a domestic dispute where Coleman's wife was arrested on suspicion of domestic violence in 2009. Both parties were given citations for disorderly conduct.

Details on the current warrant that has Gary Coleman spending time in jail are not known at this time.
