"We're very excited to present these two artists who are internationally renowned for their bravura Spanish dancing." explains Artistic Director Stoner Winslett. This production of Don Quixote presents a perfect opportunity to welcome guest artists who will bring to the performances an authentic Latin flavor. In the Spanish speaking countries and communities throughout the world, the steps of Don Quixote are danced early and often.
"We have carefully chosen these dancers from Argentina because they are so beautifully trained to do this kind of work," states Artistic Director Stoner Winslett. Richmond Ballet is very excited about this collaboration with two such celebrated artists, who also bring richly experienced backgrounds to the partnership. Richmond audiences will have the opportunity to witness the talents of Ms. Perillo and Mr. Parente for three shows only, February 9th through the 11th at Richmond's Landmark Theater.
