On a chilly February evening, what could be more romantic than a candle-lit dinner with your sweetheart by a crackling fire? The Santa Fe Opera Guild offers the perfect occasion when it hosts its annual Valentine party at the luxurious La Posada de Santa Fe Resort and Spa, Saturday, February 10.
Beginning at 6:00 the "Hearts of Gold"Â guests will enjoy no host cocktails, followed by a mouthwatering gourmet dinner, and dancing to music by the popular group, "Beat Prose."Â Held in the magnificent Montana Ballroom, famous for its grand fireplace and elegant setting, the tables will be decorated with Valentine accoutrements: red roses and candles in the Hearts of Gold theme.
The Santa Fe Opera Guild of The Santa Fe Opera is one of nine state-wide guilds whose activities support The Santa Fe Opera's education and outreach programs throughout the year. The "Hearts of Gold"Â party is one such event.
Tickets are $125 per couple; $65 for singles. (A portion of the cost is tax-deductible.)
