In a two-hour season finale, Hell's Kitchen Chef Gordon Ramsay had to choose one chef out of three. All were good, but only one would be taking over the Araxi Restaurant in BC.
The three remaining chefs had to create one dish from various parts of the world. To add a bit more heat to the kitchen, Chef Ramsay invited international culinary experts to serve as guest judges. Kevin created a Mexican dish, Ariel did a Chinese dish, and Dave made an Indian dish. In the 2nd hour, the final two chefs duke it out.
Chef Dave Levey (32), formally of Chester, NJ, had some stiff competition. But in the end, he beat out Kevin Cottle (35), from Middletown, Connecticut, and Ariel Contreras (27), from Los Angeles, California.
Last night, October 13th, the door opened for Chef Dave Levy, the new executive chef for the British Columbia restaurant, Araxi. Congratulations Dave!
