Halloween Costumes for Couples can be purchased from your local Spirit Halloween locations, Amazon.com and Ebay. There are also many Halloween costumes you can make at home using forgotten clothing in the back of your closet. Pull out old bell bottom pants, ruffled shirts, polyester leisure suits and wide belts. Platform shoes, ladies wigs, costume and vintage jewelry, big loud sunglasses and hats are all part of the get-up. Watch some old dance videos and pay attention to styles. With little money and even less effort, you can whip up some really cool Halloween outfits for adults and couples this season.
Johnny Castle & Baby Houseman - Honor Patrick Swayze this Halloween by dressing up as Johnny and Baby from the hit movie 'Dirty Dancing.' Johnny and Baby (Jennifer Grey) costumes are really easy to assemble from your closet. For Johnny (Swayze), you'll need black everything - black pants, black shirt, black shoes and black belt. For Baby, you'll need even less - the shortest white blouse tied up in a knot, and tight cuffed capri jeans.
Sonny and Cher - Look deep in your closet for Sonny's costume. A rainbow silk or lame shirt, bell bottom pants and a black belt. Sonny will also need a black mustache and a black wig with straight bangs. Cher can get away with either a matching shirt if you have one, white bell bottom pants and a gold belt, or a very short mini dress. You'll probably need a long black wig with straight bangs that are cut just above your eyebrows. Top both costumes off with microphones and sing 'I Got You Babe' to each other.
Grease the Movie - Danny (John Travolta) and Sandy (Olivia Newton John) Halloween costumes are almost as easy as Johnny & Baby. For Danny you'll need black jeans, a snow white T-shirt, and a black leather jacket. Slick your hair back and you're done. Sandy needs a black top, matching capri jeans and a belt. Do your hair up in the "Sandy" style. Watch 'Grease' to get an idea of the dance moves before you make your grand entrance to the Halloween party on your motorcycle - if you're lucky enough to have one.
