Click, download and print. It's as easy as that. Most printable Thanksgiving craft sites offer free coloring pages and Thanksgiving crafts, but not all are educational. If you don't want your kids glued to the television from now until Thanksgiving and beyond, print off some school worksheets for kids, and have them exercise their math skills. 3 turkeys + 2 turkeys = 5 turkeys and a turkey dinner!
All but one of the sites are free. However, you may want to take a look at the paid subscription website, especially if you homeschool, or have a classroom full of children. It may be worth it by the time Christmas rolls around.
Thanksgiving Worksheets for Kids
DLTK's (dltk-holidays.com) Holiday Activities for Kids has some real interesting Thanksgiving math worksheets available. They also have free Thanksgiving Mazes, Anagrams (Word Scrambles), Thanksgiving Printable Worksheets and Word Ladders in color or black and white in case you don't want to waste your color ink cartridge. Easy to navigate site.
Math-drills.com has some totally different Thanksgiving math pages to download and print. A lot of their free pages are math drills and Ordering Numbers. Sheets full of the Mayflower ship to put in order and match, Cornucopia Multiplication drills, Turkey Addition sheets, etc. Lots more available for each holiday. Math-drills.com isn't a fancy site, but what they do have is educational, well thought out and will keep kids occupied.
Primarygames.com will keep kids busy for hours with free Thanksgiving crafts, online games and puzzles; Thanksgiving Word Search, Turkey Jigsaw Puzzle, Thanksgiving Match Game, Mayflower Drag & Drop Puzzle, Thanksgiving Word Jumble and Turkey Online Coloring pages among others.
