Barbra's newest gold bling, "Love Is The Answer", is Streisand's 51st gold album, bringing the total number to 63. Not bad for the 67 year old blond Funny Girl turned Yentl, turned "Roz" Focker. Streisand is currently married to actor James Brolin. Barbra Streisand has one child, Jason Gould, whom she had with her first husband Elliot Gould.
Barbra's "Love Is The Answer", has been certified Gold by the Recording Industry Association of America (RIAA), just months after debuting at #1 on the Billboard Charts. Additionally, Barbra is the recipient of 30 platinum albums and 13 multi-platinum albums.
"She has produced albums reaching number one in four consecutive decades and is the top album-selling female recording artist. A ten-time Grammy honoree, her 51 gold albums, 30 platinum albums,18 multi-platinum albums and 29 top ten albums are all records for female singers," according to her biography on barbrastreisand.com.
