Christmas Cocktail Recipes and Jello Shots Ignite Holiday Parties

Get in the mood for holiday cocktail parties with Red & Green Jello Shots, Christmas Sangria, White Christmas Russian, Toasted Almond Hot Cocoa, and a White Chocolate Strawberry Martini. Easy to make Christmas drink recipes will be the hit of your next holiday cocktail party.

Holiday Cocktail Parties
Chances are you'll be invited to, or host more than one Christmas or New Year's Eve party in the coming weeks. Get ready for the festivities by arranging these easy to make cocktail ingredients ahead of time. No special equipment other than drink glasses, cocktail shaker and plastic disposable shot glasses are needed. Some of these cocktails and drink recipes can be made ahead and forgotten until you're ready to party. Just garnish and serve.

Red & Green Christmas Jello Shots

  • 3 ounce package Lime Jell-O
  • 1 cup (8 oz) boiling water
  • 1/4 cup cold water
  • 4 ounce vodka
  • 1 ounce triple sec

Red Jello Shots

  • 3 ounce package of Red Jello (Cherry, Strawberry, Raspberry, etc)
  • 1 cup (8 oz) boiling water
  • 1/4 cup cold water
  • 4 ounce Strawberry or Raspberry Absolut Vodka
  • 1 ounce triple sec
  1. Mix jello with the boiling water until completely dissolved. Add the cold water and alcohol. Let cool slightly.
  2. Pour jello into disposable shot glasses or paper cups.
  3. Chill for at least 2-3 hours before serving.

Toasted Almond Cocktail Recipe

  • 2 ounces Kahlua
  • 1 ounce Amaretto
  • Mug of hot chocolate, prepared
  • Whipped Cream
  1. Add Kahlua and Amaretto to hot chocolate and stir.
  2. Spoon a dollop of whipped cream on top.
  3. Garnish with chocolate shavings, or a sprinkle of cocoa and a chocolate cookie straw.

White Christmas Russian Recipe

  • 2 shots Kahlua
  • 1 shot Absolut Vodka
  • Add cream or milk to taste
  • Pour Kahlua and vodka over ice in a tall frosted glass.
  • Top with milk or cream, and serve immediately.

White Chocolate Covered Strawberry Martini

  • 1 1/2 ounce Absolut Strawberry Vodka
  • 1 1/2 ounce Godiva White Chocolate Liqueur
  • 1 1/2 ounce White Creme de Cacao
  • 1 small perfect fresh strawberry
  1. Combine all liqueurs in a martini shaker with crushed ice.
  2. Shake vigorously and pour through a strainer into frozen martini glass.
  3. Very carefully cut the strawberry almost to the green leaves, but not all the way through. Quickly dip the strawberry into the martini, then white sugar, and place on the rim.

Christmas Sangria

  • 1 part Stirrings Sangria Mix, or similar
  • 1 part white wine, Sauvignon Blanc or Pinot Grigio, chilled
  • Add your favorite red fruits (strawberries, raspberries, plums, cranberries) and let marinate and chill for a at least 2 hours.
  • Pour over ice, splash some club soda over the top and add a freshly picked mint leaf.
