Ditech Networks, Inc., a leader in the development of voice processing solutions for communications networks, announced today that it completed extensive tests at the IMS Forum's inaugural Plugfest event. Ditech demonstrated the interoperability of its Packet Voice Processor (PVP) voice processing platform with other participants in a series of tests designed to validate the interoperability of a number of key IMS network elements. The event, held January 15-19 at the University of New Hampshire' InterOperability Lab in Durham, N.H., brought together leading vendors in the VoIP IMS space.
"The IMS Plugfest was an important industry event that successfully tested several multi-vendor IMS core topologies and solidified IMS as a key part of network evolution,"Â said Tim Montgomery, president and CEO of Ditech Networks. "As IMS network architectures and applications mature, Ditech Networks will continue to expand the advanced voice processing and network border capabilities of the PVP and ensure interoperability with key IMS elements."Â
"The IMS Plugfest held by the IMS Forum between January 15-19 demonstrated the ease of IMS interoperability. Ditech participation in the Plugfest allowed us to test and enhance the quality of voice over IP functionality in a multi-vendor, multi-network environment," said Manuel Vexler, Member of the Board of Directors of the IMS Forum. "We are looking forward to having Ditech taking part in the development and execution of the next IMS Plugfest event, to be scheduled at the end of second quarter" - Ditech Networks.
