EU Commissioner for External Relations Benita Ferrero-Waldner will formally present proposals for an aid package for 2007-2010 worth more than 600 million euros ($775 million).
The funding is earmarked for health care, reform of Afghanistan's judicial sector, and rural development, including alternatives to opium-poppy production.
