Eva Avila Makes Charlottetown Stop On Debut Tour

Eva Avila will rock the PEPSI Live Outdoor Stage, at the 2007 Jack Frost Children's WinterFest presented by the Confederation Bridge Saturday, February 17, at 8:00 p.m. This will be the first Atlantic Canadian stop on her debut Canadian Tour. Following her Canadian Idol triumph Eva Avila's single, "Meant to Fly", quickly reached #1 on the singles sales charts.

Somewhere Else, produced by Rob Wells (Backstreet Boys, Nick Lachey, Matt Dusk), fuses all of the influences that make up Eva - mashing pop, R&B, Latin and dusty Motown-era soul elements.

Avila won over millions of viewers to take the 2006 crown on the top-rated smash hit "Canadian Idol". During the course of the music competition, Eva had a chance to interact with many elite members of the record industry, such as Chantal Kreviazuk and Cyndi Lauper who both contributed to Eva's debut album Somewhere Else. Be at the Confederation Landing when this new sensation displays not only her incredible vocal talent but also her ability to take over a stage.

Also included in the musical line-up on the PEPSI Live Outdoor Stage is The Wanted Man - A Tribute to Johnny Cash. Making their first V.I.P appearance in Eastern Canada is The Backyardigans; and swooping into town is BATMANâ„¢ Heroes Among Us, on stage with the Joker and Wonder Woman. Four incredible shows that you will not want to miss. The 3rd Annual Jack Frost Children's WinterFest presented by the Confederation Bridge takes place February 16-18, 2007. Weekend passes are NOW available Island wide. Weekend passes are available at Kent Building Supplies and McDonald's Restaurants all across Prince Edward Island. Tickets are also for sale at The Bookmark in The Shops of Confederation Court Mall and the Confederation Bridge Office in Charlottetown.
