A reactor at Russia's Balakovo nuclear power plant has been shut down due to an unspecified technical problem.
The Emergency Situations Ministry said that radiation levels are normal in and around the plant, which is near the city of Saratov in the Volga River region.
Russia has 31 nuclear reactors at 10 plants, and President Vladimir Putin has backed plans to build another 11 reactors by 2030.
