Microsoft celebrates Windows 7 in Japan with 7 layer Whopper

Microsoft has teamed up with Burger King to celebrate the release of Windows 7 in Japan. The celebration features a 7 layer whopper being sold at Burger Kings in Japan for the next - yes you guessed it - 7 days.

Did you look at that picture? Can anyone really eat that Whopper?

The Whopper is 5 inches thick, probably 1000 calories or more, and sells for - ready for this now? Y777 for the first 30 customers each day. If you go to Burger King later in the day, you will pay Y1495. Disappointed? Did you think it would be Y7777?

As of the close of business today, Y777 equals $8.44290. I guess that doesn't sound too bad for a 7 layer Whopper, if you are one of the first 30 people per day. But if you arrive late at Burger King, you will be paying the U.S. equivalent of $16.24470 for your Burger King treat.

I wonder why Microsoft and Burger King didn't team up here in the U.S.
