
Newly uncovered, disintegrating frames of an early Hitchcock film reveal more than one man's predilection for beautiful women in distress in the Alley Theatre's production of Terry Johnson's Hitchcock Blonde beginning February 23 to March 18, 2007on Alley's Hubbard Stage.
The play flashes back and forth in time as film footage distinctively joins the live action. At a villa in the Greek isles a British film lecturer and his lovely young student sift through reels of old celluloid, keen to discover the mysteries hidden within Hitchcock's unfinished work. Cut to 1959, and the iconic film director Alfred Hitchcock himself converses with a beautiful blonde body double, and cinematic obsessions, both past and present, are exposed.
Recommended for mature audiences. Nudity, adult language, violence and sexual situations. Hitchcock Blonde is generously supported by the Alley Theatre's 2006-2007 season sponsor Continental Airlines, the official airline of the Alley Theatre.
