The Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences decided to nominate twice as many films for Best Picture this year to recognize the many quality and popular pictures released in 2010.
Cheers went up from the audience when nominations for "The Blind Side" were announced. The 82nd Academy Awards will be handed out on Sunday, March 7.
