Each of these awards carries with it a $1000 cash prize.
Miss Universe Jimena Navarrete will focus on HIV/AIDS and breast cancer during reign
The pageant winner will spend her year as Miss Universe touring the world to call attention to the issues of HIV/AIDS and breast cancer, the special foci of the Miss Universe Organization's educational activities.
Should Navarrete be unable to perform her duties, first runner-up Miss Jamaica, 24-year-old Yendi Phillipps, will assume her duties. Rounding out the five top finalists were Miss Australia, Miss Ukraine - 23-year-old Anna Poslavska - and Miss Phillippines - 22-year-old Venus Raj, the only one of the pre-pageant fan favorite winners to make the final five.
