
This summer join TUTS' Humphreys School of Musical Theatre as we present our new summer curriculum for ages 4-adult. Beginning in June, TUTS' Humphreys School of Musical Theatre will offer a variety of musical theatre classes through The Studio. Open to ages 4-adult, the Studio summer semester will include highlights such as Musicals for Mini's, Showtime Camp, Teen Camp and Beyond the Basics.
Children ages 4-6 will learn from different classic children's musicals, favorite songs and rhyming dialogues that teach the fun of singing, dancing and acting in the Musical for Mini's Workshop held on Monday's.
Children ages 7-12 will rehearse a mini-musical showcasing classic and contemporary Broadway and Hollywood shows in Showtime Camp held Monday through Thursday. Participants will develop confidence, foster language arts, increase physical coordination, promote cooperative ensemble attitudes and expand social skills during the rehearsal and performance process.
Specifically designed for ages 13-18, Teen Camp will rehearse a salute to popular Broadway musicals through song, dance and dialogue. Teen Camp is held Monday through Thursday. For a grand finale, students will perform in an end-of-term showcase for friends and family.
Children ages 12 and up will learn to take their career to the next level in Beyond the Basics, beginning June 25 - June 29. Study with instructors currently working in Dance, Vocal Technique, Stage Acting, Film Acting, Improvisation, Stage Combat, Set Design and more. Intermediate to advanced students only.
