Everyone is talking about the recent explosion which blasted Puerto Rico. The explosion occurred at the Petroleum Gulf Oil Center, at around 12:30 AM Puerto Rican time. Thirty Petroleum Oil Tanks were damaged, but luckily, no deaths have been noted.
Damages will be assessed as soon as possible. Health Officials say to stay inside. They’re also saying to keep your windows closed at all costs. Coming in contact with the smoke is apparently dangerous.
Currently, local officials are attempting to figure out what caused the explosion, but still, no information has been released to the public.
More information has been released via Reuters. Update: According to the Reuters, 40, and not the originally thought, 30, tanks have been destroyed. Still, we don’t know exactly how many people were injured.
Inquisitr reports that the Puerto Rico Explosion took place after the missing Spirit Airlines Flight 837 crashed into the ground. Again, no deaths and no other information has been reported.
Hopefully, those individuals involved in this accident will survive, and hopefully, it wasn’t Flight 837 that crashed, because likely, the death toll will rise if it did.
Tragedies like this are always horrible to read and write about. If I had to give you advice, I would say to stay inside. Listen to what the officials / authorities are saying. Tune into your local news / radio / TV stations to keep an up to date record on what’s taking place.
If you have any more information about the Explosion which took place near San Juan, Puerto Rico, be sure to contact your local officials. Hopefully, everyone will return safe, and for those that were injured, make a full recovery. May prayers go out to everyone who was involved in this incident.
