Send keywords to our new mobile text service when you visit, and we will build your very own web page to help you learn more about Bletchley Park and the codebreakers when you get home! We are very pleased to announce the re-launch of Bletchley Park Text, a not-for-profit service developed for us by the Knowledge Media Institute at The Open University.
Over 150 historical keywords relating to Bletchley Park are displayed across the Museum. Using these keywords, visitors are able to use their mobile phones to text any of the subjects that interest them to 07985 400413. After returning home, visitors simply log on to the text service home page and enter their mobile phone number to access a wealth of information about their chosen subjects from our online archive. Much of the information cannot be found elsewhere.
In addition, anyone interested in this new information source can access it directly via the online archive link (no mobile number required!). Students and teachers in particular will find the archive useful to do follow-up homework or lesson planning to support classroom activities focused on Bletchley Park in the National Curriculum. -- www.bletchleypark.org.uk
