Christmas came a little early to some Taco Bell employees in Ohio. A man came into the restaurant, ordered a taco and gave the employee $72 for the single taco. Aaron Ohm, restaurant manager, said the man refused change and told the workers, “Merry Christmas.”
According to an Associated Press report, Ohm told police the man was in his early 20s and appeared to be drunk. He has been waiting for the man to return for his money, but has not, since the incident late last week.
Police are holding onto the money as evidence and if it is not claimed in 60 days, they will return it to the store manager, according to Associated Press reports.
Although the man gave $72 for his single taco, actual prices for a single taco at Taco Bell range from under a dollar to just a couple bucks.
