Lindsay Lohan will continue to design and expand fashions for her clothing line, 6126, despite lackluster reviews for her last attempts for Ungaro.
According to reports in Women’s Wear Daily, the expanded 6126 line will be available in Fall 2010 and includes over 100 different pieces--leggings, bustiers, vests, tops and dresses.
Retail prices for Lohan’s expanded 6126 should range from $100 to $150.
Women’s Wear Daily reports that Lohan isn’t just letting her name be used for this line, she is actively involved in the design process.
“She’s intimately involved from day one. She picks fabrics. She looks at trims. She picks buttons. She doesn’t let anything go into production without trying it on,” said Kristi Kaylor, principal at 6126, in a Women’s Wear Daily report.
It is rumored that Lohan plans to further expand 6126 in 2011 by incorporating handbags, jewelry, shoes and cosmetics into the line.
Lohan has also been talking about her expanded 6126 line through social media sites, Twitter in particular.
