Taylor Swift Redesigns Her Nashville Apartment

Cross-over musical sensation Taylor Swift is creative when it comes to home improvement. She does not just write songs, now she is trying her hand at interior design, as she designs her new Nashville apartment.

The 20-year old owns a 3,062 square-foot penthouse at the luxurious 18-story Adelicia apartment building in Nashville. Her imagination is running wild.

According to a Yahoo! music report, Swift is going to put a moat-like pond around her living room fireplace and is thinking about adding some exotic koi fish to the moat.

The moat is just the beginning.

Swift told Rolling Stones magazine there will be stepping stones in the pond.

"You step on a stepping stone in the pond in order to get on a spiral staircase, which takes you up to the human-sized bird cage observatory," Taylor told Rolling Stones. "They're delivering a human-sized birdcage, which I'll put a brass telescope in. The ceiling of my living room is painted like the night sky."

The imaginative 20-year old is nominated for eight Grammy awards, including Best Female Pop Vocal Performance and Best Female Country Performance. Swift is scheduled to sing “Today was a Fairytale” at the Grammys, her single from the upcoming “Valentine’s Day” movie soundtrack.

Swift is part of the star-studded cast of “Valentine’s Day” and kisses her former boyfriend Taylor Lautner in the movie.

She will undoubtedly keep herself busy as her apartment gets remodeled. Then after its completion, the rest of us will just have to hope for an eventual magazine spread or video tour of Swift’s fantasy-like apartment.
