
The professional dancers of BalletMet Columbus will host a special Dance with the Dancers Whodunit? Mystery Martini Party Saturday, March 3 from 7 p.m. to midnight at Global Living, 855 Grandview Avenue. In addition to food, drinks and other merriment, the event, sponsored by Hamilton Capital Management, features both silent and live auctions.
The entertaining soiree includes a martini bar, dance music with DJ Mark Dantzer, and hors d'oeuvres and desserts catered by Cameron Mitchell Catering Company. Guests can bid on auction items including vacation packages; a sushi and sake tasting at Liu Pon-Xi Far East Cuisine and Libations; shopping sprees at Saks Fifth Avenue and Abercrombie & Fitch; rounds of golf, and more. Special auction items from BalletMet include a dinner catered by company dancers and a Couture tutu created by the BalletMet Costume Shop. To add to the festivities, guests can sign a dance card and hit the dance floor with one of BalletMet's talented company dancers.
The mystery-themed event coincides with BalletMet's world premiere Whodunit?, March 8-18 at the Capitol Theatre. The interactive mystery set to an original score will have the whole family trying to solve whodunit.
