Nothing starts up springtime like a classic American rodeo and country music concert by one of today's leading country music stars, Kenny Chesney. Before doing some Vegas shows this year, Kenny Chesney will be playing for rodeo fans in Houston, Texas at Reliant Stadium at Reliant Park, but there no plans for a major tour in 2010.
If you're looking to get a peek at a Kenny Chesney concert this year, some plane tickets might have to be purchased. His currently sparse tour dates are limited to a rodeo in Texas, Hard Rock Café in Vegas and a few other Southern Party towns.
Since Kenny Chesney had the highest grossing tour in the U.S. in 2009 (ranking in $71.1 million dollars from his tour last year), it might be in his best interest to add some more dates to keep up with the ever popular and money producing tours by U2, Bruce Springsteen, Britney Spears and AC/DC.
His website says otherwise, stating "For us to be able to get out there and rock at a few of these festivals, we need at least 6 months to work on it." Maybe he'll bounce back with another big tour in 2011, but we're going to have to be satisfied with what tickets are available for now.
