New Toshiba Laptop Wirelessly Connects to TV

Technology continues to push the envelope. Toshiba has revealed a new product that will make streaming TV from the laptop to the TV a whole lot easier. The product is called the Toshiba Satellite E205 and it comes with a Netgear Push2TV adapter. It is essentially a laptop that comes with technology to wirelessly connects to any HDTV.

With everything from iPads, to voice activated phones, and touch screens, the Jetson’s rocket backpack may not be far off. Advances in TV technology has resulted in more realistic, crisper pictures that leave nothing to the imagination. Indeed, HDTV has revolutionized the way society watches TV. Analog simply does not cut it anymore. Toshiba’s new Satellite is yet another product that revolutionizes television viewing.

Nowadays, people tend to multitask. They watch football while playing fantasy football on the internet. They Gchat while watching the latest episode of Lost. Everyone seems to be forever wired to the internet while glued to the television. Unfortunately, this habit results in watching the small laptop screen more than the $1000+ LCD.

Fortunately, Toshiba has solved the problem. It’s new Satellite makes hooking the laptop up to the television extremely easy – there’s no need for a mess of wires and cords that just end up getting confused and cluttered in the back of the otherwise flawless tv. With the Satellite E205 laptop, users can simply connect wirelessly and view any laptop content on the big screen.

The laptop is available at Best Buy stores and includes Intel’s Wireless Display technology to make it work. In order to connect, simply plug in the included Netgear adapter to the HDTV’s HDMI port then push the wireless display button on the laptop. Within seconds, the television will display whatever is playing on the laptop.
The Toshiba Satellite E205 is $999. It weighs a little over 5 pounds, and has a 14 inch display. It has plenty of ports including two USBs, HDMI and VGA. The laptop is exclusively available now at Best Buy.
