The 2011 Chevrolet Cruze is a pivotal model for Chevrolet as the brand continues to build sales momentum. “The rebirth of the U.S. economy starts in Lordstown, Ohio with the Chevrolet Cruze,” General Motors North America President Mark Reuss told an assembly at the production facility.
What Reuss also might have said is that the Cruze will be a rebirth of Chevrolet's marketing. While its new products have generally received good reviews in the motoring press, its Chevrolet's marketing efforts have stumbled.
2011 Chevrolet Cruze Will Herald New Marketing Push
Chevrolet has dumped its longtime advertising agency and gone through a string of managers at the helm of its operations with the most recent appointment occurring just several weeks ago when Jim Campbell, on the job since last December, was replaced by Chris Perry.
