Brittany Murphy's Death Called Accident by LA Coroner

Actress Britany Murphy's death has been ruled an accident, according to news released by the Los Angeles Coroner's Office on February 4, 2010. Britney Murphy, 32, was found dead in her Hollywood Hills home in California on December 20, 2009.

The coroner issued a brief statement attributing Murphy's death to a combination of pneumonia, an iron deficiency and 'multiple drug intoxication.' The coroner did not offer specific information about the types of drugs involved, but will release autopsy results in two weeks.

Brittany Murphy was reportedly found dead in her bathroom on the morning of December 20, 2009. Murphy was found by her mother, who lived in the Hollywood Hills home along with Murphy and Brittany's husband Simon Monjack.
