Donald J. Trump added two more golf clubs to his group of award winning golf clubs at the end of 2009. Trump purchased Branton Woods Golf Club in New York and Pine Hill Course in New Jersey from Empire Golf.

Donald J. Trump, an avid golfer himself, owns award-winning golf courses throughout the world. Trump added two more courses to his collection at the end of 2009.

Mr. Trump purchased the 400 acre Branton Woods Golf Club located in the Hudson Valley in Hopewell Junction, New York. Branton Woods, in the lush Hudson Valley, has spectacular views of the Stormville Mountains. An 18 hole championship golf course is complemented by an Adirondack-style clubhouse. It is rated as one of the country’s best courses. Branton Woods name has been changed to Trump National Golf Club—Hudson Valley, New York.

Trump also purchased a the 365 acre Pine Hill Course, in Pine Hill, New Jersey (which is adjacent to Pine Valley Golf Club) and covers the Philadelphia market. Pine Hill, designed by the world-renowned golf course architect, Tom Fazio, is an award-winning course on Southern New Jersey’s highest point, which provides tremendous views of the Philadelphia skyline. The accolades for this 18 hole course are well deserved, and the sophisticated amenities and clubhouse provide the ideal venue for a wide variety of social events. Pine Hill's name has been changed to Trump National Golf Club—Philadelphia.

According to a press release from Trump Golf, Branton Woods and Pine Hill cost approximately $45 million each to build with an approval process that took many years. “These two courses are each considered among the finest in the country and I am proud to add them to my growing list of clubs. Today, they would be virtually impossible to replicate from thestandpoint of receiving governmental and environmental approval or from the standpoint of cost,” said Donald Trump in a press statement.

The Trump Organization will operate both clubs as high-end ultra-luxury private clubs. Mr. Trump recently purchased the 850 acre Lowes Island course, which is also a private club, and fronts for three miles on the Potomac River near Washington, D.C. Mr.

Golf photographer, Brian Morgan, stated about Mr. Trump's golf clubs, “Perhaps never in the history of golf has any one individual created or assembled a finer collection of courses.”

Trump’s clubs have been spectacularly successful and, despite the recession, membership is thriving.

The purchase price is confidential.
