The 2010 Shanghai World Expo is six-month world exhibition, which is themed "Better City, Better Life.” The event, China's first-ever World's Fair, is expected to attract 70 million visitors, which would make it the biggest Expo or World Trade Fair in history. The Expo is intended to foster understanding of people around the world, as countries showcase and share the best of their different cultures.
Leading American companies have committed to showcasing the best of America to China and to the world. The USA Pavilion, at more than 60,000 square feet, will be one of the largest national exhibitions at the Expo in Shanghai. The theme of the USA Pavilion is "Rising to the Challenge." the Pavilion will showcase American culture, values, innovation and business, while celebrating the friendship and cooperation between the United States and China.
