Fans fight for Justin Bieber, Security Tightens

Love can hurt. Especially if it’s crazy teen love for 15-year-old pop star Justin Bieber. The kind of love for Justin Bieber’s music that has sparked him into stardom has also resulted in injured fans and criminal arrests. Precisely why Justin Bieber’s musical Valentine’s Day debut at The Palladium in Hollywood will up the ante for the security department.

After deliberating over consequences surrounding a previous Justin Bieber appearance, the venue operations team took into account the possibility of chaos and an unruly crowd. Much like what occurred on November 2009 in New York City, The Palladium management fears the current staff will not be able to control the crowd and result in unnecessary roughness – Something an amped up security force could counter.

In November, a scheduled meet-and-greet with Justin Bieber was to take place at Roosevelt Field Mall in the Big Apple and the security staff, and eventually the music event, was cancelled due to rabid fans and riots.

“At the time, one girl had to be rushed to the hospital following aggressive pushing and shoving after employees at one of the stores falsely screamed out that Justin was in their store,” says Celebrity-Mania.com. The event also resulted in an arrest of a Justin Bieber “camp” member, along with others.

In the aftermath of the plausible assumption that such chaos could have been avoided, Justin Bieber used his words to console upset and disappointed fans.

“The event at roosevelt mall is canceled," Bieber tweeted from his page later that day. "please go home. the police have already arrested one person from my camp. I dont want anyone hurt.” Later posting another sweet sorrow, “Im sorry to everyone who was in Long Island at the Mall 2day. I was just trying to come meet fans and never meant to disappoint anyone."

The musical venue operators of The Palladium will keep Justin Bieber among tighter ranks as they up the guards and brace for stronger security against Justin Bieber’s crazy in love fans for the sold out show on February 14, 2010.
