Super Bowl Commercials: Sneak Preview

The Super Bowl is known for team victories, parties and spectacular Super Bowl commercials. This year, talk of Tim Tebow's controversial ad has sparked Women's Rights groups and other ads, like PETA's "Veggie Love" ad didn't even make the cut before getting banned by the committee. Here are some Super Bowl commercials to watch for...

1. Tim Tebow's controversial anti-abortion ad. The "Focus on the Family" commercial caused Women's Rights groups to seek ban of the ad during the 2010 Super Bowl. In response, Florida QB Tim Tebow said, "Some people won't agree with it but I think they can at least respect that I stand up for what I believe."

2. Audi's sponsored "Green Police" ads. In an effort to keep fans green and smart during the 2010 Super Bowl, German car maker Audi sponsored a handful of "Green Police" commercials to boost eco-marketing efforts - And limit the amount of napkins used when grabbing a pizza, fish taco or po' boy.

3. Honda's Crosstour Squirrel. While the connection is yet to be made between the squirrel and the new Honda Crosstour, Honda put two-and-two together in their recently unveiled 2010 Super Bowl commercial ad.

4. Doritos "Winning Spot" Commercials. The chip makers hosted a contest and fans submitted commercials up for the main spot during the 2010 Super Bowl. Commercials solicited votes from viewers and the winning spot will be aired during the game. Doritos has announced the six finalists chosen and can be previewed here.

5. Peyton Manning and Jersey Shore's "The Situation". While the rumors of the two studs coming together for a commercial hasn't been confirmed, the Jersey Shore star tweeted yesterday that he was "off to Miami to shoot commercial w Peyton Manning for Superbowl."

According to the New York Daily News, there's even more "fun" in store with 2010 commercials featuring ads with bands Cheap Trick and Kiss along with Chevy Chase and Beverly D'Angelo in a "National Lampoon's Vacation" spot. In addition, Anheuser-Busch will bring out a new line up of Budweiser Clydesdales for the viewing.

Tune into the Super Bowl for all the commercials on Sunday, February 7, 2010.
