CBOT Opens New Visitor Center

The Chicago Board of Trade (CBOT) announced today the unveiling of its new first floor Visitor Center (Center), located in the lobby of the Exchange's landmark building at Jackson and LaSalle Streets.

CBOT President and CEO Bernard W. Dan said, "Visitors will be inspired by the journey that the CBOT has taken to become one of the largest derivative exchanges in the world. The interactive center will be an important educational resource for the general public to learn about one of Chicago's most impressive and influential landmarks - the Chicago Board of Trade."

The Center features information on risk management, commerce development, technology and trading. Visitors will find artifacts showcasing the CBOT's rich history as well as technological innovations, streaming video, interactive displays, and a retail store. The new CBOT Visitor Center is open from 8:00am to 4:00pm, Monday through Friday, and is free to the public. -- www.cbot.com
