Cox Television operates 15 television stations, three national television sales representation firms and a Washington, D.C. news bureau. Cox Television is a subsidiary of Cox Enterprises, Inc., one of the nation's leading media companies and providers of automotive services.
The first two stations to be outfitted with DVCPRO P2 HD equipment will be WSOC-TV, the ABC affiliate in Charlotte, N.C., and WSB-TV, the ABC affiliate in Atlanta, Ga. Beginning January 2007, both stations are slated to equip their photographers with fully-equipped AJ-HPX2000 shoulder-mount, multi-format 2/3"Â P2 HD camcorders.
