Fulton's Eichmann Family Theatre Series Continues

The Fulton's Theatre for Young Audiences acting company will be performing two exciting and educational plays in February. Keeping with the Fulton's tradition of offering quality family entertainment, audiences can enjoy in the same weekend both Noodle Doodle Box, a meaningful story about friendship geared for children through grade 6, and Sowing the Wind, an interactive theatre experience about farm safety and making smart choices for all ages.

Noodle Doodle Box, Paul Maar's enchanting children's story from Germany follows best friends, Pepper and Zacharias, who reside in two most extraordinary boxes, as they learn the true value of their friendship when a selfish visitor arrives and threatens their precious dwellings. The Theatre Resource Directory calls Noodle Doodle Box "a delightful, entertaining play that offers an engaging lesson in learning to share and live together."

Sowing the Wind, a new audience-participation play written by the Fulton's own Barry Kornhauser and students of Huntingdon County, PA, explores the hardships of making a living from farming and the toll it can take on one family. Clare, Ezekiel and Jacob Meyer face difficult choices about their health and safety, but in this unique show, audience members become active contributors in helping the Meyers choose which actions will better promote their well-being. Audiences help create the outcome of Sowing the Wind instead of merely watching it happen! Sowing the Wind was written through a Mid Atlantic Arts Foundation "Artists & Communities" Grant and produced via a PennPAT "New Directions" Grant.

The acting ensemble for the two shows are Charlie DelMarcelle (past Associate Director of the Fulton Family Theatre Ensemble) as Zacharias in Noodle Doodle Box, Andrew Kindig (Crazy for You, Grease) as Jacob Meyer in Sowing the Wind, Brian Martin (Dracula, Theousetrap) as Drum Major in Noodle Doodle Box and Ezekiel Meyer in Sowing the Wind, Joanna Underhill (Company Stage Manager) as Clare Meyer in Sowing the Wind, and Stephanie Jo Wise (Peter Pan, The Sound of Music, A Christmas Carol, Into the Woods, Oliver!) as Pepper in Noodle Doodle Box and the Facilitator in Sowing the Wind.

The design and artistic team for Noodle Doodle Box and Sowing the Wind are Scenic Designer Robert Klingelhoefer and Costume Designer Beth Dunkelberger. The Company Stage Manager is Joanna Underhill. Noodle Doodle Box is directed by Barry Kornhauser. Charlie DelMarcelle also directs Sowing the Wind. Michael Dale is the Company Understudy.

Performance dates for Noodle Doodle Box: February 23 at 10 AM and February 24 at 2 PM.

Performance dates for Sowing the Wind: February 24 at 7 PM and February 25 at 2 PM, which is also Farm Safety Day.
