Diabetes And Electrosensitivity Reveal New Type 3 Diabetes

Diabetes and Electrosensitivity might be creating a new type of diabetes based on environmental influences. Dr. Magda Havas published a report on how electromagnetic fields impact blood glucose levels. The new type of diabetes is labeled type 3 diabetes and differs from type 1 and type 2 diabetes.

Type 1 diabetes is genetic, commonly called child onset or insulin dependent diabetes and comprises 5 to 10 percent of diabetes patients. Type 2 diabetes, or adult onset, non-insulin dependent diabetes is more prevalent and occurs in 90 to 95 percent of those diagnosed. Lifestyle and obesity are major factors in getting type 2 diabetes.

Dr. Havas suggests Type 3 diabetes is environmentally linked. An environmental trigger or "dirty electricity" can be blamed for spikes in blood sugar. The article "Dirty Electricity Elevates Blood Sugar Among Electrically Sensitive Diabetics and May Explain Brittle Diabetes," in "Electromagnetic Biology and Medicine" magazine, Dr. Havas discusses 4 studies that reveal surprising results about environment linked diabetes.

The first study was based on a 54-year-old male whose blood sugar remained stable while participating in non-electrical activities. A graph based on electrical activity and blood sugar levels clearly showed that his blood glucose rose because of electric triggers, such as using his computer.

"If your blood sugar changes in different environments, you could have type 3 diabetes."

The next case discussed on Dr. Havas's new video is based on a 57-year-old female with type 2 diabetes. The woman exercises to control her diabetes. Testing her blood sugar before and after exercise revealed significant differences in blood glucose levels. For 3 days, the woman exercised outside and benefitted greatly from the activity.

When the woman exercised on her treadmill, similar differences in blood sugar levels occurred. Walking outside lowered blood sugar, while walking on a treadmill, increased blood sugar. Dr. Havas states this is a direct example of "dirty electricity."

"If your blood sugar increases when you use electric exercise equipment, you may have type 3 diabetes."

Other occurrences for type 3 diabetes happened with an 80-year-old woman with type 1 diabetes who reduced the amount of dirty electricity in her home. The reduction lowered her insulin intake by 75 percent. Dr. Havas suggests using filters to rid houses of dirty electricity.

More studies need to be concluded to further this idea that might be a type 3 environmental diabetes, but the findings are significant. Technology continues to impact lives for negative and positive reasons. If diabetes epidemic could be further prevented by not only lifestyle changes, but electromagnetic changes, lives and money could be saved.
