Evaluating Education In America At Cincinnati Museum Center

Between 1938 and 1965, three Cincinnati area high schools exemplified educational excellence during a time of racial conflict. The faculty, staff and students of DePorres, Lincoln-Grant and Lockland Wayne High Schools-three Black segregated schools-were committed to exceeding societal expectations. Excelling both academically and athletically, alumni from the three schools became role models: students who matured into leaders for the Black community.
