Tom Taschle has mad recompense and has admitted an oversight. It is very likely that he may be confirmed as Obama's Health Secretary and lead the nation through the health care reform. But the public wants him to be more vigilant on health care matters and not treat them as the income tax.
WASHINGTON (Reuters) - Health Secretary-designate Tom Daschle apologized in a letter released on Monday for errors that prompted him to pay $140,000 in back taxes, saying he was "deeply embarrassed" and would answer any questions a Senate panel had about them.
