Judge Judy was in her court room and running the TV show when the earthquake happened. As seen in this video Judge Judy was able to quickly realize it's an earthquake and leave leave the room.
During the show everyone is seen running out of the building, perhaps it's a high rise building and there was a big danger. However, the two young people who were accusing each other during the Judge Judy show did not even realize what's going on and were staying there without knowing it's an earthquake and what they should do.
An earthquake halted the filming of many television programmes in LA. Even the usually unflappable Judge Judy lost her cool as tremors interrupted her show. The earthquake measured 5.4 on the Ritcher scale.

Being a California Native I'm used to the quakes. Now I live out of state, When I saw the quake on Tv i got homesick.
Judge Judy was wrong just by leaving the bench, she should of called for order and have everyone leave the building. what she did was left everyone to defend for them selfs. What did Bert leave also?
an 5.4 is a small quake but it can cause damage brick buildings could crumble if there right next to eptic center and stuff falls off the walls.
