National Dog Show 2009 Best in Show Winner is Sadie

Over 150 breeds and over 1,400 dogs competed at the National Dog Show 2009 but only one could be named Best in Show. The honors went to Sadie the Scottish Terrier, owned by Amelia Musser of Mackinack Island, Michigan. Sadie, registered with the American Kennel Club as Champion Roundtown Mercedes of Maryscot, wins a the attention over 20 million viewers and a $6,000 cash prize.

The Philadelphia Marathon got underway Sunday morning with great weather for runners. This is only the 16th running of what is also known as the Philadelphia Independence Marathon. Runners started off at 21st Street and the Ben Franklin Parkway, and will make their way down to Old City in this 26.2 mile race.

Brady Quinn Cheap Shot Draws Anger From Ravens

After Tom Brady's knee injury last year, the NFL instituted the "Brady Rule" that protects QBs against below-the-knee tackles. Brady Quinn, QB of the Cleveland Browns apparently thought it was named after him, and gave him a free shot against the Baltimore Ravens' DL, Terrell Suggs.
