I'll be spending this Summer in Stockholm, Sweden - and I just thought I'd share this video I found which highlights many of the great attractions. I lived there for 2 years but haven't been back for over 12 months. Frankly one of the best highlights not in the video are all the great restaurants and cafes and the excellent shopping...

#1 Stockholm Restaurants
See I wouldn't think Stockholm would have diverse food. What type of food is characteristic for the resturants in Stockholm? Is Scandinavian or Swedish cuisine distinct? Thank you for sharing thsi video about Stockholm. It's very beautiful.
#2 Food is great
Like any big European city the choice is very diverse, my favourite munch is a big burger and fries from a little Irish pub called the "Foggy Dew" - ok so its a 20 dollar burger, but hey, this is Stockholm! Otherwise I might head over to El Toro Tapas bar and really pig out...
If you want good ole traditional food then look no further than the traditional smorgasbord (Sweden invented it), there you feast on Sill (pickled herring, horrible...), meatballs, korv (sausage) and all manner of Scandinavian delights - many restaurants put on a smorgaboard around christmas and its very traditioanl to go at least once a year with friends or a work party.
If you really really want to try some truly scary traditional food then go to Norway, you might find yourself digging into a half rotten sheeps head, and no, I am not kidding...
My first stop will be the new (and much raved about) Aquavit restaurant at the new Clarion Hotel.
