Production on the rookie series "Cougar Town" has been temporarily suspended. Reportedly, filming will be halted while star Courteney Cox attends to a "family matter." ABC has confirmed the shutdown.

Singer Aaron Carter and his professional dance partner Karina Smirnoff were eliminated from week 10 of Dancing with the Stars 2009. The couple tied for the lowest judges' points with only 50 points for their foxtrot and 1990's samba on Monday night's elimination show.

ABC's newest show "FlashForward" premieres tonight and is being called the next "Lost". It is similar to lost in many ways, including the large cast and the fact that there is a major disaster that in some way affects all of the cast members. The cast of "Flash Forward" on ABC even includes two actors who were previously on "Lost", Dominic Monahan (who played Charlie) and Sonya Walger (who played Penny).

She is also the younger sister of actor Kirk Cameron and is married to former Russian ice hockey player Valeri Bure (brother of Pavel Bure).

At the halfyway point, so to speak, gymnast Shawn Johnson leads the final round of "Dancing with the Stars" with 58 points. Gilles Marini is in second with 57 points, and Bachelor "star" Melissa Rycroft has 56.
