AerCap Holdings N.V. ("AerCap," NYSE: AER) announced today that it has recently closed the acquisition of a Boeing 737 New Generation ("NG"), which was delivered new from the production line this month.

Emerson (NYSE: EMR) and Motorola, Inc. (NYSE: MOT) today announced that the two companies have entered into a definitive agreement under which Emerson will acquire Motorola’s Embedded Communications Computing (ECC) business for $350 million in cash. Motorola’s ECC business, which had 2006 revenue of approximately $520 million, will strengthen Emerson’s position in the $6 billion-and-growing merchant embedded computing industry.

Fujitsu New Zealand Limited and Infinity Solutions Limited today announced a merger of equals, building a stronger resource base and an improved ability to service customers. The deal is subject to Infinity Group shareholder approval, with a proposed completion date of 16 October 2007.

Nokia and Enpocket announced that they have entered into a definitive agreement for Nokia to acquire Enpocket. Nissan Motor Co., Ltd., today concluded an agreement, through its subsidiary, Nissan Forklift Europe B.V., with the shareholders of Atlet AB to acquire a 100% stake in the Swedish warehouse equipment manufacturer.

Today Microsoft Corp. announced it has agreed to acquire Chicago-based Parlano, maker of MindAlign, a leading application for enterprise group chat. Microsoft expects to add Parlano’s group chat functionality as a new feature of Microsoft® Office Communications Server and Microsoft Office Communicator, Microsoft’s server and client software for presence, instant messaging, conferencing and VoIP.

Comtech Telecommunications Corp. announced today that its Maryland-based subsidiary, Comtech Mobile Datacom Corporation, received orders totaling $31.2 million under its Movement Tracking System, or MTS contract, with the U.S. Army for support of the National Guard. Total orders received to date against the $463.2 million U.S. Army logistics contract increased to $459.8 million.

Acer Inc., one of the world's leading branded PC vendors, announced today it has entered into a definitive agreement to acquire Gateway, Inc. Gateway is the fourth largest PC company in the US and a leading retail PC provider. The combination will create a multi-branded PC-company with over US$15 billion in revenues and shipments in excess of 20 million PC units per year.

Gateway, Inc. today announced that it intends to exercise its right of first refusal to acquire from Lap Shun (John) Hui, all of the shares of PB Holding Company, S.ar.l, the parent company for Packard Bell BV, a leading European PC vendor based in Paris. Mr. Hui sold the privately-held eMachines, Inc. to Gateway in March 2004.

IBM announced it has acquired WebDialogs, Inc., a Billerica, Massachusetts-based, privately held provider of Web conferencing and communications services, with more than 500,000 users worldwide. Financial details were not disclosed.
WebDialogs offers online meeting and collaboration services that combine web and audio conferencing into one, easy-to-use experience.
