The Minnesota Vikings may have lost out on a chance to go to the Superbowl, but they gained a new mascot. The team flew General Larry Platt, known for his Pants on the Ground audition on American Idol, to New Orleans to inspire the Vikings before Sunday's NFC game against the New Orleans Saints.

Wednesday night brought another round of auditions for American Idol Season 9 and this time the search for talent was in Orlando, Florida. The guest judge for yet another night of interesting entertainment was Kristin Chenoweth who most recently appeared in the ABC show, Pushing Daisies.
