Armenia to Turkey: Normalization Not Linked To Karabakh

Turkey has positioned itself in a very confusing situation with Armenia. On one hand it pre-signs protocols about normalization of relations with Armenia where there is no single word about linking the process to Armenia's relations to Azerbaijan and Nagorno Karabakh, on the other hand it tells Azerbaijan that unless the issue of Nagorno Karabakh is solved the Turkish Armenian border won't open. Armenian warning to Turkish statements of linking two processes did not delay.

Armenia Says Turkey Obliged To Respect Genocide Survivos

On September 17, during the Iftar dinner, which the PM of Turkey Recep Tayyip Erdogan gave to Turkish media editors-in-chiefs, he said Turkey would not open its border with Armenia without solution to Nagorno Karabakh problem. He also said that Armenia must be freed from the influence of the powerful diaspora. We asked the Armenian Foreign Ministry to comment on the above, which said that the Turkish PM's comments are not helpful to the process and that genocide survivors must be respected.

Azerbaijan Better Prepare Its Public For Karabakh Independence

Tehran Yerevan Plane Crashes Killing All 168 On Board

Sixteen minutes after the take off Tupolev with 153 people on board crashed near Qazvin province of Iran and burned at once. Evidently the crew of 15 died. The aircraft of the Caspian Airlines was following Tehran – Yerevan route flight 7908. No concrete details from the spot are yet reported.
